Bray Women's Refuge Kirtan Fundraiser

Saturday, 16 September, 2017

Bray Women's Refuge Kirtan Fundraiser - Saturday 16th September from 7-8.30pm, in Common Ground Bray, Beverley Studios, Church Terrace, Bray.  12e /10e concession.

A very warm welcome to all, to this deeply nurturing gathering of singing, chanting and meditation, a Kirtan. Kirtan is non-denominational, the universal language of Spirit, the song of the Soul. This very special fundraising event will take place at the wonderful Common Ground co-operative in Bray, on Saturday 16th September, 7pm - 8.30pm. All proceeds will go directly to the Bray Womens Refuge, a voluntary organisation working tirelessly to combat the social effects of Domestic Violence.

As we dive into gentle and joyful devotional sacred mantras, this practice can help awaken our true innermost Self. Creating a safe, healing, heart and spirit vibration together, we can connect to ourselves, to eachother and offer our prayers and intentions out into our Universe using our most powerful tool, our voice. We will be accompanied on guitar and shruti by Felicity Ananda and guest musicians. No singing/meditation experience needed just a desire to uplift and nourish your heart and soul.

Felicity is a fully qualified and registered Yoga and Meditation teacher, Homeopath, Usui ® Reiki Practitioner and secondary school teacher. She has been teaching Yoga and Meditation in schools and in the community for over 15 years. These pathways have greatly inspired her to integrate and align her passions into her Kirtan practice. She offers a space to connect with, and unleash the potent healing vibrations of the voice, evoking our inner life force, the Guru residing within all of us.
