IMPACT WorkAbility Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme

This free programme helps people over the age of 16 years with disabilities living in the Bray or North Wicklow area, to move closer to employment / self-employment through tailored education, training, skills development, and in-work supports based on each person’s needs, abilities, and potential. The programme offers one-to-one, tailored support, with each participant working alongside an Employment Facilitator to plan for job readiness. Supports include: 

• Identifying suitable education and training options
• In-house and external training to increase your employment opportunities
• Work experience and work placements
• Assistance with CV creation and interview skills
• Information on in-work supports available
• Support to advance your career and improve your employment prospects
• Advice and guidance if you want to start your own business

Supports for Employers:

• Information on incentives to hire a person with a disability
• Provide you with trained individuals suitable for employment
• Information on Government incentives to hire a person with a disability such as the DSP Wage Subsidy Scheme and the Work and Access Scheme.
• Practical supports to recruit, retain and progress people with disabilities and build an inclusive and diverse workforce
• Provide information on Disability Equality and Inclusion Training
