The Crime Victims Helpline is a national helpline which was estabilished in 2005. We provide support and information for victims of crime and all those affected by crime. Our volunteers respond to each caller's individual needs. We give crime victims time and space to talk about what has happened to them, and the effect it has had on their lives. We will answer any question about the criminal justice system, and we will put people in touch with local services and specialist services for victims of crime. Although we cooperate closely with a Garda Siochana we are a seperate and independent Helpline and all calls to our line are confidential.
