About FirstLight
FirstLight offers free professional support to parents and families who have faced the devastating loss
of a child aged 0 to 18, no matter the circumstances of that loss. FirstLight is a trauma-informed
organisation, offering Crisis Intervention and a Psychotherapy service. With a network of over 140
accredited counsellors and psychotherapists nationwide, FirstLight ensures there are no waiting lists.
This means individuals can receive timely and accessible care when they need it most.

How FirstLight Can Help
FirstLight offers a range of free and confidential supports, including:
   Crisis Intervention and Early Bereavement Support
   Individual Psychotherapy
   Couple Therapy
   Play Therapy and Art Therapy for bereaved siblings (where appropriate)
All services are provided by professionally accredited, fully insured and Garda-vetted
psychotherapists and counsellors.
