Library service

The Library Service provides through free membership,a range of lending options: books, CDs, audio books, DVDs, language tapes and CD ROMS. Free internet access is provided for all, including those with visual impairment. It organises arts and learning based activities and provides space and resources for community groups. On line, the public can check their account, renew or request items and search the catalogue. As a member of the library a range of online databases is available from your own home: e.g. Britannica Online. A mobile library service covers any areas of the county not served by a branch library.
