Music Generation Wicklow

Music Generation Wicklow provides high quality, affordable accessible performance music education.

Music Generation Wicklow aims to provide high quality, affordable and accessible performance music education to young people aged eighteen and under in the county. We do this through school programmes, after school tuition in instrumentation, support local ensembles and orchestras encompassing a variety of instruments. We provide summer schools and many special projects and commissions to enhance the musical experience of young people. Our aim is to make music education fun, to offer the joy of performance without the pressure of grades or exams. We also support our students through our instrument rental schemes.  We have a team of over 30 professional musicians who travel around the county delivering our programmes.

Music Generation Wicklow is funded by Music Generation, U2 and The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Skills and local partners KWETB and Wicklow County Council.
