80 MAX Ireland

80 MAX promotes the Slow, Switch, Grow method of reducing our personal greenhouse gas emissions by three tonnes:

• Slow down to reduce fuel consumption and emissions (1255 people have pledged to keep to 80km/hr as their top speed to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions);
• Switch utility provider to 100% renewable; and
• Grow native trees (10,000 planted to date).

80 MAX also organises an annual Family Tree Festival event in Belmont Demesne and distributes 3000 native trees for planting in the county.
