Wicklow County Council's Community Climate Action Fund is now open for applications for community projects that reduce greenhouse gases, build climate resilience and help communities transition to a lower carbon economy.
The fund of €646,000, is being made available to organisations and community groups in Co. Wicklow who are interested in developing projects and initiatives that relate to the challenge of addressing climate change. Projects are eligible for 100% funding, up to a maximum of €100,000.
Applications can be made under any or all of five themes: Community & Energy; Climate & Environment; Shopping & Recycling; Food & Waste; andTravel.
