East Wicklow Youth Service

East Wicklow Youth Service (EWYS) is a regional youth service of Crosscare with a catchment area from Bray to Rathdrum and Aughrim.

The service offers opportunities, support and encouragement to empower young people to enhance their own potential and contribute positively to improving their quality of life and the community.

EWYS offers alternatives to anti-social behaviour and drug and alcohol use. The youth service gives young people the opportunity to engage with trusted adults in a safe environment outside of family and formal education setting. EWYS identifies the needs of the young people and designs programmes using a 'strengths based approach'. The youth service works with other community based projects, youth services, voluntary and statutory agencies, and groups to deliver programmes, drop-ins, training, outreach, advocacy and themed events.
