Samaritans Ireland East Coast

Samaritans provide completely confidential, non-judgemental, emotional support 24 hours a day every day via our

The email helpline is useful for people with hearing difficulties and there is a minicom number for the telephone helpline.

You can also call into branches for face to face emotional support. There is no charge for calling into branches.

There are 20 branches of Samaritans in Ireland: Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Sligo, Drogheda, Newbridge, Kilkenny, Kerry, Waterford, Athlone, Ennis, Belfast, Bangor, Ballymena, Omagh, Craigavon, Derry, Omagh and Coleraine.

In addition to drop-in services and our helpline, Samaritans also work in prisons, schools and the workplace.

Samaritans offers training and support to other groups active in suicide prevention.
